Yea I see that now, but when I posted his picture didn't work. Well anyways, there was one in LA AD2 led by some Ele (not affiliated with Anet, just a random guy) and it could have stretched from storage to the merchant... I'd there was about 60 people in it.

ITs not. They are late all the time. It usually happens when something went wrong and they have to "Investigate".

Actually Anet are not late at all. They never announced a time...they only announced the day the event would roll out on..
If i remember correctly last year they rolled it out in the evening? (or am i confusing the quest npcs appearence with the appearence of decor of the towns? somebody correct me on that)
Its good to see players getting along for once in Lions Arch though

What time GMT? Anyone know? I know Anet are 7-8 hrs behind us so from 2pm ish is when they should be in work? I dunno, guessing here but just wondering if anyone had a time table? I've alread seen a guard in Kamadan with a candy cane bow so it's must be close (unless that's been there a while and I've not noticed)?

Events usually start at 12:01AM PST on that Day. That allows for the full amount of time that was announced. Which is what players expected.
But it didn't and there currently isn't an announcement from Gaile yet. But players are also used to them being late all the time. Which is why this thread isn't 10 pages long.
There were also a select few events that took off at 7:00AM and 3:00PM all PST time. But they extended the time. Since this event is 11 Days long, I don't think that they are pressed for time(yet).
